Draft: temporary merge for some exercises in DirectLSE

Please do not delete the source branch after merge. All exercises from 3-1 to 3-12 excluding the Householder exercise are polished. See the README.md in the subfolder for remaining TODOs.

This PR is just a temporary update of the master branch for upcoming homeworks.
